In case of problems with finding a speaker by the app, please replug both your Sonos speaker and WiFi router to the power source, it helps most of the time. I'm not a techy, but not dumb as an engineer, so good luck to whomever goes against the OVERWHELMING number of 1 stars (as did I too!) and actually buys not only the app but this crap speaker series. Sick of jacking with this speaker, the Sonos environment and lack of fuzzy experience. The app is NOT intuitive, freindly, just sits there and does nothing.

I thought that I would resort to buying this app for my 2019 MacBook Pro (should be new enough device to handle all the hoops and obsticles Sonos throws down), but allas, it is not. NOW you can only stream music from a SUBSCRIBED provided (free versions do not alloww this feature!). I loved being able to use my phone to immediately play my favorite PURCHASED music lists. The sound quality is amazing and I was happy once I could get it to work using my iphone as the controller. I wanted the whole surround sound experience and wwas told that Sonos was the best.
